MISSION BBQ is a chinese bbq in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 2002 Fruitville Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601, which places it among the local businesses of Lancaster that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Lancaster; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Pennsylvania are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amโ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach MISSION BBQ at (717) 769-4471; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is mission-bbq.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 1,069 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese bbq in Lancaster and suggests consistent service.
Lancaster is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Lancaster is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Stopped in for a quick dinner after finding it on Google Maps. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, atmosphere and the service. The inside was decorated with all sorts of military and first responder memorabilia which had a nice touch as far as restaurants are concerned. The food was great. I order the meat sampler with the brisket, regular sausage and turkey with a side of Mac N cheese and collard greens. The standout was the sausage and collard greens. But not taking away from the other food. The sodas are free refills absolute plus. While we were sitting the employees roved the area to help clean up. Very great place would definitely recommend it. Thanks for having us.

First i want to say, HOW HAVE I NEVER BEEN HERE?!?!? The food was outstanding but more than that the staff was exemplary! Drew was extremely generous and kind to me and my other Chef friend and when we got to our seats Ava was absolutely welcoming and amazing. Other restaurants should take note itโs the small things that make a huge difference in the guest experience and this place hits ALL the marks!!! This is one of my new favorite spots! Iโm a fan! UPDATE: So Iโve been back two more times and EVERY time they are just as good and just as kind as the first!!! Cheyenne this time was a ROCK STAR! Thank you for making us feel so welcome and comfortable at your restaurant!

Amazing place to eat! My husband and I are both active duty in the military and they brought us banana pudding and thanked up for our service. Great customer service, great food, and great staff! Will eat again here in the future, thank you!

I can't remember their name, but the person I spoke to on the phone to place a pickup order last night was super polite!! They asked what time exactly I would like to pick up my order so it could be warm by the time I arrived. Once I got there, I was greeted with a smile and they confirmed my order and even asked if I wanted any sauce to go. I tried the Texas Twang and KC Classic, both were pretty good! The atmosphere was very nice, and the restaurant was super clean. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Very pleasant experience here and I'll definitely be back!! Also, I highly recommend trying the Baked Beans with Brisket, they are yummy!!

Restaurant was extremely clean smelled good. The service was immaculate. A girl named Charlie took our order. She was very sweet everyone behind the counter. Looked like they enjoyed being there and got our food within 3 minutes. I got the brisket and the pork and would 10 / 10 Recommend to anyone thinking they want to try.. This place is great.
